Signature Program

Texas Eviction Diversion Program 

TDHCA works directly with courts to help eligible tenants stay in their homes and provide landlords with an alternative to eviction. Lump sum payments are made to landlords in exchange for allowing tenants to remain in their homes, and diverted cases are dismissed and made confidential from public disclosure.

Amy Young Barrier Removal Program

Austin, TX

Andrew W. suffered a stroke in 2016. When he arrived home from a long hospital stay, he discovered his home needed changes to help get around. He called a number of agencies to help and finally found TDHCA’s Amy Young Barrier Removal Program which provided necessary modifications.
